Welcome to our Postage and Handling Terms and Conditions
AUSTRALIAN CUTTING BOARDS WILL DELIVER YOUR ITEMS AUSTRALIA WIDE.
WE OFFER FREE SHIPPING WITHIN AUSTRALIA.
Your cutting board will be sent to you via FASTWAY Courier services or Australia Post, and is subject to the standard shipping times set by them. Usually, this is 3-5 business days for metro areas and up to approx. 10 business days in remote areas. Free standard shipping can be sent to most locations throughout Australia. (A few exceptions apply. Visit fastway Couriers website or Australia Post to see areas of Australia that they don’t deliver to, or contact us)
Free shipping is for standard delivery only. If you wish to have your purchase sent via express post, contact us for a postage quote.
Please note: Fastway Couriers can not deliver to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers. In the case that you live in an outlying or remote area, as a guide, if Australia Post do not offer a delivery service for regular mail to your physical address, it is likely that Fastway Couriers won’t deliver to your door. If possible, we will try and send your parcel via Australia post, to your PO Box, keeping in mind they also have size and weight restrictions. If unsure, please use a physical home or business address, or contact us before making your purchase, so we can discuss the best option for you.
AUSTRALIAN BULK ORDERS AND ISOLATED RURAL AREAS
Due to the size and weight of our boards, bulk orders and orders to remote or isolated areas, may require a postage fee. Postage and handling will depend on the weight and size of the box we send your items in, and where you are located in Australia.
Your parcel will be sent within 1 to 2 business days from receipt of order or after engraving.

ORDERS NOT COLLECTED OR UNABLE TO BE DELIVERED BY AUSTRALIA POST OR FASTWAY
If Australia Post or Fastway attempt to deliver your parcel and no one is home to collect it, they may leave it at your door, or if a signature is required, they will leave a card to let you know they have attempted to deliver your parcel. Follow the instructions on the missed delivery card. In most cases, your parcel will be held at your local post office for two weeks, if you do not claim your parcels within that time your parcel will be returned to us and a re-postage fees will apply. In most cases, Fastway will do the same. Currently there is an approx. $15 return post to us, plus re-postage cost to your address (please look out for the confirmation email from us to say that your parcel has been dispatched and is on it’s way to your address)
WRONG DELIVERY ADDRESS
If you realise there is an error with your postal address, contact us as soon as possible. If your parcel has not left our warehouse, we will amend it, if possible. If your parcel has already left our warehouse, it is out of our control, but we will do what we can to help you in contacting Fastway or Australia Post, to put a stop to your parcel. In this case, they may be able to amend the delivery address, or they may need to return the parcel to our place of business, and we would need to resend your parcel. You will be responsible for any fees or charges incured, and any additional postage costs. If the error in delivery address is our error, we will rectify it, with no charge or fees to you.
OTHER DELIVERY TERMS
On delivery of the Product, you may be required to sign for delivery, unless you grant us ‘authority to leave’ the parcel. You agree to inspect the Product for any obvious faults, defects or damage before you sign for delivery. You need to keep receipt of the delivered Product in case of future discussions with us about it.
You may grant us an ‘authority to leave’ the parcel, when placing your Order. If you do, you understand and agree that this authority to leave gives us and/or our selected couriers permission to leave the Order in question unattended by the front door – or, where applicable, at the reception or front desk – of the delivery address without obtaining a signature confirming delivery at the delivery location. In such circumstances, you understand and agree that by granting us authority to leave, we and our couriers are released of all responsibility and liability for the Orders delivered and left unattended and that this responsibility and liability transfer to you on delivery.
Please note that it might not be possible for us to deliver to some locations. If this is the case, we will inform you using the contact details that you provide to us when you make your Order and arrange for the cancellation of the Order or delivery to an alternative delivery address.
